Privacy Policy

The Service collects the following information from Users:

• Nickname and other profile information.
• Email address (where you link an external service account such as an Apple account or a Google account).
• Photos and videos you select, and the metadata they contain (including EXIF information such as the date, time and location the media was captured).
• Record titles, captions and other information you enter.
• IDs you use on external services, and other information you have permitted the linked service to disclose under that service's privacy settings.
• Information about the OS and device you use, such as OS-generated IDs, device type, device identifiers and advertising identifiers.
• Your usage history of the Service, such as launch times, input history and purchase history.

The Service uses the information collected from Users for the following purposes:

• To accept registrations for the Service and to identify and authenticate Users.
• To provide the features of the Service, such as creating, displaying and sharing records.
• To manage Users' usage history of the Service.
• To process payment of fees.
• To analyse Users' usage of the Service and use the results to maintain and improve the Service.
• To deliver and display advertisements and measure their effectiveness.
• To display targeted advertisements matched to Users' interests and preferences.
• To provide information about the Service.
• To respond to inquiries from Users.
• To prevent and investigate fraudulent use and to respond to reports.
• To notify Users of changes to, suspension or termination of the Service, or cancellation of contracts.
• To notify Users of amendments to the terms of the Service.
• In addition to the above, to provide, maintain, protect and improve the Service.

The Service only collects the photos and videos you select from your device's photo library. It does not access your photo library beyond the scope you have permitted.

The photos and videos collected are used, together with metadata such as the date, time and location of capture, to create, display and share records, and are stored on external storage services used by the Operator.

Your posts, including photos and videos, are displayed to third parties in accordance with the visibility you set for each record (private, limited or public).

Regarding the measures the Service has taken to securely manage the information collected from Users, we will respond individually in accordance with applicable laws if you contact us at the contact listed at the end of this Policy.

Of the information collected from Users, the Service does not provide personal data (Article 16, Paragraph 3 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information) to third parties (including those located outside Japan) without the User's prior consent, except in the following cases:

• Where the User has given consent.
• Where necessary to protect a person's life, body or property.
• Where the handling of personal data is entrusted to an external party.
• Where the Service is acquired by another business.
• Where the data is jointly used with a business partner (if there is specific joint use, its details will be announced separately).
• Where provision to a third party is otherwise lawfully permitted by law.

The Service uses the following external services to provide the Service, and may entrust the handling of information to these providers or transmit information to them. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy for details of how it handles information.

• Database and backend infrastructure: Convex, Inc.
• Storage of media files such as photos and videos: Cloudflare, Inc.
• Account authentication: Apple Inc. / Google LLC
• Billing and subscription management: RevenueCat, Inc.
• Advertising: Google LLC (Google AdMob)

The Service displays advertisements provided by Google and its partners (third-party ad providers). Advertising identifiers and similar information may be used to deliver advertisements, including advertisements based on your past use of the Service and other apps and websites. Google and its partners use this information to display relevant advertisements.

You can allow or deny app tracking at any time from the privacy settings in the iOS Settings app. Even if you do not allow tracking, non-personalised advertisements will still be displayed.

The Service may use analytics tools to understand usage and improve the Service. Information collected for analysis is processed statistically and does not, by itself, identify a specific individual.

You can delete your account and the data you have posted, such as photos and videos, from the settings within the app. Deleted data is erased in accordance with the procedures established by the Operator, except where retention is required by law.

The content of this Policy may be changed without prior notice in response to amendments to laws, changes to the Service and similar circumstances. Except as otherwise provided by the Operator, the revised Privacy Policy takes effect when posted on this page.

If you wish to request disclosure, correction, suspension of use or deletion of your information, please make your request through the contact channel within the app or by any other method designated by the Operator.

In such cases, we will verify that the request has been made by the User in question, using a method designated by the Operator. For disclosure requests, an administrative fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged at the time of application, regardless of whether disclosure is made.
